The 2019 season opens with “George Washington’s Teeth,” a Midwest première by Mark St. Germain. This zany new comedy follows the exploits of the struggling New Bunion Historical Society as its members battle the city council to keep the doors open and prevent being banished to the basement of the town’s senior center. “Silent Sky” by Lauren Gunderson tells the riveting true story of Henrietta Swan Leavitt, a pioneering scientist in an age when women couldn’t even vote. “The Ghost Musical” is based on the Paramount Pictures film written by Bruce Joel Rubin. This musical adaptation of the 1990 Academy Award-winning film follows the love story of Sam and Molly as their love endures even after death. “A Murder is Announced” by Leslie Darbon is a gripping whodunit adapted from Agatha Christie’s book featuring Miss Marple searching for a killer. “A Trick of Light” is a World Premiere Comedy by Peter Moore. Eddie, a 40 something guy, discovers an astonishing skill – he can become invisible!
